Our Heroes Mini Wooden Camera

Israel has brutally & inhumanely murdered AT LEAST 210 journalists since October 7, 2023 (as of August 4, 2024 when I originally created these).

I made the first version of this camera when we were at the 14 week mark of the ongoing genocide. At that point, the Israeli army had already killed more journalists than any other army or entity ever had in any single year. It has only gotten unbelievably worse as each day has passed.

Our hearts are collectively being shattered over and over and over with each passing day witnessing the suffering that Palestinians are going through via screens. As devastating as it has been, we must remember Our Heroes who have actually lived through and are/were still able to document what is happening before their very eyes.

I hope with all my heart that this small piece of art serves as a reminder to keep those in Palestine & standing up for Palestine in our hearts, minds, dua/prayers.

We can not stay silent while we live in our safe spaces.

The names on this camera will vary in order and the names themselves will also vary, as I did not put them in any particular when making them. They are also not a reflection of who is most heroic. Every person in Palestine is a hero in heir own way, and there are many many many more names beyond deserving of the title "HERO" that wouldn't be able to fit on the small space of this wooden surface, even if it were covered on every single part.

May Allah SWT heal all of Our Heroes' and all Palestinians' physical & emotional wounds. Amen.
