Ever since I first laid my eyes on the Orange Blossom (Iruq Al-Nafnuf) tatreez pattern, i’ve been so drawn to it. Something about the typically horizontal positioning of it and the way the pattern is repetitive, but still different as they alternate captures my attention every time I come across it.
The orange blossom specifically symbolizes joy, fertility, and prosperity, evoking the lush beauty of the orange trees that flourish in Palestine's Jaffa city. (SOURCE: DARZAH DESIGNS).
There are so many things I love about this jacket from the oversized fit and contrasting collar, to the giant rounded pockets and the seam lines across the upper portion.
